North Side Bus

I just want to make one thing clear. This is a blog about myself. Me. Julia Hedges. So I'm going to be incredibly self centered and just talk about myself. All the time.
So today I took the bus home from school, which is around a 30 minute ride. If someone filmed the inside of the bus they could use that footage to represent a bunch of kids being driven to an insane asylum. For one there are the middle schoolers, a bunch of obnoxious kids who yell inappropriate things and take up the seats in the back just to piss the high schoolers off. Some of the stuff those kids say makes me want to hit them (obviously I don't because that would be mean). There are the freshman class, comprised of me and my friends, who despise the middle schoolers and harass them just as much as they harass us. Then there are the upperclassmen who sit unhappily and silently with their laptops open.
Today my friend Julius forcibly picked up an 8th grader who had been taking up a whole two seats, curled up in a fetal position, and dropped him unceremoniously two seats away.  I am ashamed to say this, but I felt like we needed some kind of activity. So we played classic girly campy bus games: would you rather, never have I ever, MFK. As Julius put it, the games meant nothing seeing that we were "the saddest group of people ever".
I agree. It was pretty sad.
